I’m sure you’ve noticed Maybe Too Metal hasn’t updated in awhile, and I wanted to let you know why. I have decided to retire the comic and move on to new projects.
I always have a lot of projects: short stories, poems, novels, comics, graphic novels, but it means that something always has to give.
I haven’t had time for Maybe Too Metal for awhile now, but I have continued to plug away because of how much I appreciated you guys, our fans.
The thing is, I have more stuff to show you. For example, this is a page from the graphic novel I’m working on now. The first chapter is going to be published in the MSU Cartoonist Anthology.

While this comic was going on, it provided a lot of happiness in my life. And even after it stops, that happiness won’t be forgotten. And I know the same may be true for any new readers who stumble upon MTM in the future. You guys both rock, thank you for all the laughs.
My apundance of jokes will go to waste. My fangirling of Kevin will go unspoken. That aside, I wish you the best of luck in your endeavours. MTM will be greatly missed.
I do have one last piece of wisdom for you two, if you will allow me to share it. Midgets do not like being called midgets, and they REALLY do not like being called people mcnuggets.
